Limbaugh: The Media, Stewart, Colbert ‘Damaged’ Our Ability To Fight Terrorism (Mediaite)

Rush Limbaugh believes one reason the U.S. is not fully equipped to fight terrorism is that the nation has been “damaged” by the “Bush lied” meme perpetuated by the media. But not just the overall media, no, Limbaugh had two specific examples in mind: Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

Now, how could two late night comedians possibly hurt an entire nation? Well, according to Limbaugh, they (along with the rest of the mainstream media) kept saying that George W. Bush lied, which in his mind was “propaganda [that] has done more damage to this nation’s ability to take on legitimate terrorism with confidence and assuredly and defeat it.”
