Schiffer on France’s Planned Tax Hike on Tech: ‘France Wants a Bite out of America’

SCHIFFER: “Yeah, it could be quite brutal for tech companies. We are going to have to see how it plays out. But France wants a bite out of America. They want a bite out of tech and the politics supported, and I think they’re going to be able to certainly move forward with this. And I believe you’ll see some other countries take hold of the same thing. Whether really spins out, we are going to find out. But it’s going to be an interesting one. And certainly, I don’t think it's a threat yet, but it could be.”
