Bishop: If Muslims Were Killed Instead of Christians, We’d See ‘Outcry’ from W.H.

‘The lack of response is, in fact, allowing those who think differently from us, Islamic terrorist types, to think we’re weak’

JACKSON: "Certainly there would be a different reaction. There would be an outcry that would say that we’re wrong. I believe this is not an hour in which religious leaders have to have courage. I want to speak out and ask my Islamic leaders and religious leaders of every faith to say this is wrong.

Thomas Aquinas, really the father of the just war theorem, told us that when innocents are being murdered, it’s a moral crime. One of the laws that we operate by in terms of 'war' is that innocent people should not be treated as combatants and soldiers. This is universally not allowed in any faith. It’s wrong and I think we should hear from the Muslim community and more from the Christian community. We need to cry out. We need to pray.

We need to call upon the president and both Senate and Congress to do something now. The lack of response is in fact allowing those who think differently than us, Islamic terrorist types, to think that we’re weak. And if they think we’re weak, they’re going to do more. I think that's the problem that we face in this hour."
