Sanders to CBS’ Dickerson: You’re Quoting Howard Schultz Because He’s a Billionaire and Controls the Media

‘Why are you quoting Howard Schultz?’

DICKERSON: "Howard Schultz is saying he will not run as anything but an independent."
SANDERS: "Why are you quoting Howard Schultz? He's a billionaire. There are a lot of people who make a hard living at 40 or $50,000 a year who know politics more than Howard Schultz. But because we have a corrupt system, anybody who is a billionaire who can throw ads around on television suddenly becomes very, very credible. Is he blackmailing the Democratic Party? If you don't nominate Bernie Sanders, he's not going to run? I don't like that kind of blackmail."
