KIRBY: “I think that’s exactly how the Saudis are looking at this. They know they — they — that they have some leverage over Trump. It’s hard to understand what that is, but they — I think it’s about Iran, and they are going to use it. I think they absolutely are seeing signs from the Trump administration that they’re going to continue to get away with this. I think what both sides are doing, Saudi and the administration are just playing for time. They’re hoping we are not going to pay attention to this anymore.”
