For a minute, Americans watching Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) State of the Union response might have experienced déjà vu when the 2020 presidential hopeful grabbed a water bottle mid-speech Tuesday night.

During his lengthy response to Trump’s State of the Union address, Sanders began to have trouble talking and reached for the bottle of water, which he quickly drank from before returning to his remarks.

Many Americans will remember when Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) reached for a water bottle while delivering the Republican response to then-President Obama’s State of the Union in 2013.
