Conor Lamb: We Cannot Have a Shutdown Like This Again

LAMB: “Well, the most important thing about her leadership during the shutdown was that she brought it to an end. We cannot have a shutdown like that again and I think that was good. I think going forward there are a lot of good people appointed to this Conference Committee, and so I’m pretty confident that these career appropriators can do what Congress is sent here to do in the first place, which is negotiate, compromise and move forward.”
