‘Morning Joe’ Mocks Trump for Blaming Paul Ryan for Border Wall Funding

BRZEZINSKI: "In his Oval Office interview with 'The Daily Caller,' President Trump criticizes past Speaker Paul Ryan. The President said Ryan promised to secure wall funding while Republicans controlled both houses in exchange for the President's signature on the 2018 omnibus spending bill. Trump said, quote, 'Paul told me in the strongest of terms that, 'Please sign this and if you sign this we will get that you wall, which is desperately needed by our country.' Humanitarian crisis, trafficking, drugs, you know, everything, people, criminals, gangs, so, you know ,we need the wall. And then he went lame duck. The President went on to say. 'And once he went lame duck, it was just really an exercise in waving to people and the power was gone —'"

But it does show us that the President of the United States has decided the new strategy is not to blame Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer, it’s to blame Paul Ryan because we all know Donald Trump deferred to Paul Ryan so much over the past couple of years."
