JORDAN: “I never have seen in my experience, though, the fervor among so many Americans for a third option. So Americans in theory love the idea of a third option. They like the idea of something that’s a bipartisan split ticket that — a pledge to work with both sides, but in practice we’re more polarized. We see polling that shows that we’re more polarized than ever, and people don’t identify as an independent or a moderate the way they did in the 90s.”
