Andy McCarthy on Stone: ‘Each Passing Indictment Disproves’ the ‘Rationale for the Start’ of the Mueller Probe

‘Which is that there was a conspiracy between Trump and Russia’

EXCERPT:

KILMEADE: "Are they building to the crescendo almost like the end of a season cliff hanger? They just keep rolling out an indictment here and indictment there, little by little? Or are they just doing this in realtime as they get them?"
MCCARTHY: "Well, Brian, I don’t think it could be much of a crescendo because each passing indictment disproves the proposition that was the rational for the start of the investigation, which is that there was a conspiracy between Trump and Russia. They said that with great fanfare in March of 2017. I've noted that it’s not a normal thing for the FBI to acknowledge the existence of an investigation when they did in Director Comey’s testimony in the House in March of 2017. It's highly inappropriate to identify the subject of an investigation, particularly a counterintelligence investigation which is classified. Yet, they identified the Trump campaign as a subject of their investigation and suggested there might be criminal liability here and all that’s happened in all the ensuing months since March of 2017 is day after day after day it becomes less and less likely. In fact, it becomes more and more clear that there was no conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia."
