Lieu: I Won’t Vote for a Short-Term Funding Bill That Contains Down Payment on Wall

‘Democratic position has always been consistent and reasonable’

RUSH EXCERPT:

LIEU: “Thank you for your question, Wolf. First of all I’m pleased that the democratic proposal with no strings attached got more votes than Donald Trump’s own proposal. Very pleased that six Republican senators broke ranks with the president, including Mitt Romney. I’m glad he’s showing he’s not a flake and that Mitt Romney is putting country above party. I’m hopeful this will lead to talks to reopen government. Democratic position has always been consistent and reasonable. Reopen government, Mr. President. Negotiate a deal.”
