EXCERPT:

COLBERT: “But, you know, I also wanted to talk about one of our guests tomorrow night, been on the show before, we've really enjoyed having them on here, one of the news anchors for Fox News, Bret Baier, was supposed to be here tomorrow night. We just found out that he and his family were in a car accident in Montana, jaws of life had to get them out of there. They’re all in the hospital. But they’re going to be okay. We just want to say we hope you’re doing better. We reached out to them, and what's the message? Bret’s message to everybody out there is they’re going to be okay, thank you for your thoughts and prayers for him and his family and please, wear your seat belts, okay? It makes a difference. Are those 800,000 workers that we were talking about before, the ones who are furloughed during the shutdown? We all know, none of this is their fault."
