Kennedy: If All Products Were Made in the U.S., Lots of Americans Would Not Be Able to Afford Things They Normally Could

‘You would price lower and middle income Americans out of the market’

RUSH EXCERPT:

KENNEDY: “When I look at it as a libertarian I look at some of the public sector unions. I think they have done a great disservice to small business owners and workers in this country. It’s a big issue to impose our will to say we should make all manufacturing take place in the United States. That seems great. It would be very expensive. You would price lower and middle income Americans out of the market and they couldn’t afford the things that they can. I hair your disdain for China. They have a state-run economy. The worst aspects of their economy is because of an oppressive state. Steve: I agree with it on the mandate. Obama said does he have a magic how is he going to bring manufacturing back? Well, he did. And not by mandates. There is something about the way, particularly the never-trumpers who are responsible for so many of the problems that gave rise to this new populist movement, whether it’s Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders in the new generation. They created those conditions. And they don’t stop to acknowledge that.”
