People felt they could show up and didn’t have to be embarrassed because they had an insurance card. The record is the opposite of what Wendy said. Here’s the thing. The problem with this. Mayor says this cost $100-million. People from across the country will flood into New York to get free healthcare. They are offering it to undocumented immigrants. You can’t ask them for proof of residency or income. If you offer free health care to undocumented immigrants, you are offering it to everybody. That’s going to blow the cost through the roof way over $100-million. My advice to new yorkers is move so you don’t have to pay the taxes and come across the river to get free healthcare.”
