Donny Deutsch: Trump ‘Will Swirl Down the Drain’ with the Wall

‘At some point, when people start to see their jobs not coming back, the economy not going in the right direction, those coal miners, that world not coming back, at some point in time people start to think about themselves and not fearless leader’

EXCERPT:

DEUTSCH: "It's a zero sum game. 'I won, you lost. You lost, I won.' The irony of this wall is he shut down the government because — on a broken promise. Mexico was supposed to pay for this wall. So he ran for years saying, 'I’m building a wall. We’re not even paying for it, Mexico is paying for it.' And now he’s shutting it down because we’re not going to pay for it. He will go a week, a month, six months, and he will swirl down the drain with this wall. I was coming back into the country and there was a guy in customs and I said, 'How are you doing?' He says, 'Oh, you know.' And you forget. He’s a human being. 800,000 people that are not getting paid. It’s not a number. It’s guys coming to work. It’s women coming to work. And you know, that base that we continue to say is non-erodible — that’s probably not a word. At some point, when people start to see their jobs not coming back, the economy not going in the right direction, those coal miners, that world not coming back, at some point in time people start to think about themselves and not fearless leader."
