Jehmu Greene: With Everything He Has on His Plate, Trump’s Fixation on the Border Wall Design Is ‘Disturbing’

‘And in the 2016 election, what we saw was candidate Trump, he really dumbed down this issue, which is making this compromise even much more harder’

RUSH EXCERPT:

GREENE: “We can all agree that the last thing that the president needs to do is spend time designing walls, my goodness, with everything that he has on his plate, his fixation on whether there are slats, you can see through them, how pretty it will be, that is disturbing. Given that the government shutdown and given that we are dealing with serious situations in Syria and Afghanistan, so I would hope that he would stop focusing on the design of the wall and really listen to the people who have skin in the men who have said that this is not about a wall that covers the entire southern border. It is how you get smart policies in there. Whether it is drones, whether it is the sensors, these access roads, we need to be smart about this. And in the 2016 election, what we saw was candidate Trump, he really dumbed down this issue, which is making this compromise even much more harder.”
