Defense Lawyer Steven Greenberg: Mueller Might Want to Question Trump Again Because He Thinks He Lied

‘When you sit down with federal investigators, if you lie to them that’s a crime, and let’s be realistic, Donald Trump has some trouble with the truth’

EXCERPT:

BANDERAS: "The only reason that Robert Mueller should have any other additional questions to the questions he had time to prepare in order to hand over to the President's lawyers is if there’s any new information. Because if you are trying to get information from a defendant, you don’t need to re-ask old questions unless you need to ask new questions because new evidence has come up. Has any new evidence, do you believe, come up that would lead Robert Mueller to need to ask further questions of the President?"

GREENBERG: "I look at it a bit differently, maybe Robert Mueller looked at the answers, and although Trump says the answers are truthful, he wasn’t satisfied. He didn’t think they were truthful and he’s got follow-up questions."

BANDERAS: "Do you think it’s time to wrap this investigation up?"

GREENBERG: "I think they’re going to take as long as they need to take, I don’t know where they’re going with it. They will wrap it up when they’re done."
