NFL Plans on Running this Domestic Violence Ad During Super Bowl (Mediaite)

During the Super Bowl this weekend, the NFL’s anti-domestic violence campaign will run the following ad, which depicts no actual domestic violence — but points out that, really, no one actually sees the effects of domestic violence until it’s too late.

Featuring audio based on an actual incident, the ad creepily hints at some sort of violent altercation, while a woman orders a large pizza from a baffled 911 operator, until he realizes that there’s someone in the room with her and she can’t talk.
