DEL PERCIO: "Mika, you’re absolutely correct. Donald Trump only works in distraction mode. He only knows how to pivot away from what his concern is and try and make noise somewhere else. How else do you put up a green acre parity thing that he did yesterday? It’s absurd. But I just want to go back to General Mattis and his resignation for a minute. What I took away from that is General Mattis was willing to disagree with the President, but he wasn’t willing to compromise himself or his ethics because of the President’s policies. And that is a big difference and that is the constant theme with Donald Trump and with people who are leaving this administration or more so don’t want to go into this administration. They know he’s unethical and they can’t trust him. And Joe brings up another very good point, I think the President is afraid of losing everything because of the investigation into the Trump Organization. Donald Trump is not just cornered. He’s a man in a room with no doors. He has no escape."
