Watch the Moment a Blind Veteran Sees His Family for the First Time in 20 Years (Washington Free Beacon)

Mark Cornell, an Air Force veteran, lost his vision 20 years ago from Lyme’s disease.

He now has chance to see again thanks to new technology from eSight–and his reaction to seeing his family for the first time in two decades was caught on camera.

The electronic glasses enhance the quality of sight by triggering an increased reaction from cells in the eye. Cornell said it was “emotional” to have his vision back. And Cornell’s wife said that Mark being able to see is having him back.
