Doug Collins: Comey’s ‘Memory Greatly Increased When He Started Numbering Things that Would Make Him Look Good’

‘He only emphasized really what he wanted to emphasize’

EXCERPT:

COLLINS: "The facts that he gave to the committee were very few because he only emphasized really what he wanted to emphasize. When he got to issues of 'Was it verified/unverified?' Especially the documents actually given to the court, he was very hesitant there. When you read the document, read the transcript, he says we have an obligation to make sure that there is both sides and at least presented in such a way that the court knows that we have done our job. But obviously, even knowing now that some of that was unverified, we know he didn’t do his job. What amazes me is that his memory picked up greatly when being asked by Democratic lawmakers, and his memory greatly increased when he started remembering things that would make him look good. I think it’s just a verification of slight amnesia going on here."
