"In the House...I think we're going to see two years of investigations, and subpoenas, and we may well see impeachment," Cruz said.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) told students during a speech at George Washington University Thursday that they would likely see House Democrats impeach President Donald Trump in the next two years.

“Today is a deeply divided time. There’s an anger, there’s a rage, that I think isn’t healthy, I think isn’t good for our country,” Cruz said about the current political environment in America.

“That anger and rage corrodes our democracy. How it plays out in the next two years, I don’t know,” Cruz added.
