Karl Rove: Losing Against One of the Least Liked Members of the Senate Suddenly Qualifies Beto to Run for President

‘This is somebody who ran against a very unpopular sitting incumbent and lost’

RUSH EXCERPT:

ROVE: “Robert Francis O'Rourke... I do. You know that is how he appeared on the ballot. That is the name on the ballot when they voted him down. Think about this. He has run for the U.S. Senate. And lost. Against one of the least liked members of the U.S. Senate. Suddenly that somehow qualifies him to run for president. This says something about the desperation of the Democrats or the field or I don’t know we will see how it develops. This is not Barack Obama who got elected to the U.S. Senate in Illinois and gave an outstanding speech to the Democratic National Convention in 2004. This is not, this is somebody who ran against a very unpopular sitting incumbent and lost. We’ll see.”
