‘Free Beacon’ Montage: Obama Frequently ‘Turns the Page’

President Obama often likes to say he is telling a story to the American people, so it makes sense he uses another book-related cliché throughout his presidential addresses.

Obama said it was again time to “turn the page” during Tuesday’s State of the Union address, and he has also asked the country to turn the page on Iraq, Afghanistan, foreign policy and subprime mortgages, among others.

Like so much else from this White House, it’s a nice-sounding and rather meaningless phrase.
