Holly Turner: ‘We Are on a Path Toward Success in These Trade Negotiations’ with China

TURNER: "I think we are on a path towards success in these trade negotiations. Right now China is bearing the brunt of the pain in this situation. So, there is an article in Bloomberg this week that said that Americans are feeling about 4.5 percent of that 25 percent tariff that we have imposed, but China and its consumers and its companies are bearing about 20 percent of that. So I think what the President wants to do is give a little bit more time and make sure we have as much leverage as possible before we go into negotiations. I think it's a little bit premature to go to the table, but if there's one thing this president knows how to do, it’s how to get a good deal. So I have full faith he will do a good job."
