Swalwell: We’ll Shutdown the Government if GOP Doesn’t Pass Bill Protecting Mueller

SWALWELL: "Well, again, Jim, the Republicans are the majority. They have the House, the Senate and the pen at the White House. So they are expected to deliver the budget. They come to us because they can’t do that. And we’re going to say if you want our votes, we think that the rule of law, that no person is above it, is an American principle and we're going to stand firm on that. And if they can’t come up with votes on their own, they're going to have to work with us and I think we can avoid a shut down."
