Dem Rep. Ted Deutch on Recount: Trump, Rubio Are Trying to ‘Undermine People’s Faith in Our Democracy’

DEUTCH: "There is a mandated process established by law to conduct this recount. The goal, everyone's goal ought to be to ensure that every valid vote is counted. That's how you respect the will of the voters. What we saw over the weekend ,starting Thursday with the governor's press conference and continuing right on through the weekend with statements from the Governor and Senator Rubio and President Trump, is an attempt to undermine the people's faith in what's happening in Florida and ultimately undermining people's faith in our democracy. That's the wrong approach. It's a dangerous approach. What we ought to be doing is let the process play out, make sure every ballot vote is counted, and then we live with the results.“
