Fernand Amandi: ‘Unbelievable’ What the Fla. GOP Is Doing when It Comes to Elections

‘Bill Nelson, the signs were there that he was in trouble’

EXCERPT:

AMANDI: "No question about it. Bill Nelson, the signs were there that he was in trouble. He was going to be in a situation that he finds himself in now. He’s in a recount. He may squeak it out, but if he ends up losing this race, the signs were there. And it wasn't, Joy, just with African-American voters, it was with Hispanic voters as well. I think even on this very program we talked about the fact that there was credible polling that suggested that Scott and DeSantis were making inroads with Hispanic voters that they shouldn’t really have been making. You speak to the point very correctly about what Bill Nelson could have and probably should have done when it came to the African-American vote. If I could just make one last point, listening to Rick Scott’s clip that you played earlier, talking about unethical liberals trying to steal this election, isn't it very reminiscent of the very same language that Brett Kavanaugh, who now sits on the Supreme Court, was making and charging playing the partisan card? Keep in mind, Rick Scott is still the governor of Florida. And just yesterday, he sent Florida department of — FDLE agents to oversee and supervise the process in Broward county. Also, shades of Brian Kemp in Georgia. Unbelievable what this un-American Republican party is now doing when it comes to elections."
