CNN’s Tapper: If Early Exit Poll Numbers Are to Be Believed, ‘This Is a Rebuke of President Trump’

‘But if this holds on, this will be the first test of the so-called resistance of people who oppose President Trump’

EXCERPT:

TAPPER: "It’s preliminary information right now. But if this holds on, this will be the first test of the so-called resistance of people who oppose President Trump and their ability to get people to the polls. And if these numbers are to be believed — again, it’s early. These are preliminary numbers — this is a rebuke of President Trump. When you have 55 percent disapproval, 56 percent saying it’s on the wrong track, the nation is on the wrong track. 47 percent strongly disapprove of President Trump. If these preliminary numbers hold out throughout the rest of the night, that’s a strong rebuke of the President."
