Fox & Friends offered some light criticism this week of President Donald Trump‘s use of “enemy of the people” to describe the media.

In light of pipe bombs being sent to CNN by one of the president’s fervent supporters, Axios asked Trump about his use of the term in an interview. The president explained: “It’s my only form of fighting back. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t do that.”

That explanation was apparently enough for Fox & Friends to justify the president’s use of the Stalinist phrase.
