Gregory: ‘This Idea of Violence Against the Media’ Comes in ‘Context’ of Khashoggi Murder

‘We’re working in an environment here where the media and politicians are all part of this very heated conversation’

EXCERPT:

GREGORY: “And to launch this kind of terror attack, where it’s coming from, we don’t know; identifying the sources of it, we certainly don’t know. But we have to point out what the context is, and the broader context too. What have we been talking about so often over the past couple of weeks is the murder of a journalist for 'The Washington Post' overseas in Turkey. So this idea of violence against the media and certainly terrorist attacks dedicated toward or attempted against political figures is all in this context.”
