HAWLEY: "I think this is an incredibly dangerous situation for the United States. I think the President is right that we have to meet this with a show of strength. And to have the Democrats Claire McCaskill sponsoring an open borders bill. Senator McCaskill has said that the wall is embarrassing, she's mocked the very idea of it, she's voted for funding for sanctuary cities. This is the kind of weakness that invites this chaos. It invites this national security crisis, really. That is exactly what we cannot afford. And the people of Missouri don’t want."
