Van Jones to Kushner: ‘I Feel Very Proud to Have a Chance to Work with You Where We Do Agree’

‘We don’t always have to agree with each other on everything’

EXCERPT:

JONES: “I think on some issues we should fight about a bunch of stuff but on some issues where you're talking about people who have no freedom because are trapped in addiction, trapped in poverty, trapped in broken criminal justice system we've got to be able to come together for those folks and we can fight on everything else. And I hope that people can see that we don't always have to agree with each other on everything we should fight hard where we disagree and we should work hard where we do agree. And I feel very very proud to have a chance to work with you where we do agree and I'm also going to work very hard to get you a new job in 2020."
