The House Republican Russia investigation comes to a head this week with scheduled testimony from at least three witnesses and it remains a highly fluid situation. As you mentioned, the co-founder of Fusion GPS Glenn Simpson is facing contempt of Congress. He’s under subpoena to appear tomorrow to answer questions about the anti-Trump dossier that was used to secure surveillance warrant for Trump campaign aide Carter Page, but so far Simpson has refused to appear and notified the committee he will take the Fifth. Depositions are also scheduled with the FBI's former top lawyer James A. Baker, as well as a Russia researcher for Simpson's company Nellie Ohr.”
