Sen. Hirono Claims Trump’s Judicial Nominations Are a ‘Court Packing’ Scheme

‘I am more determined than ever to let everybody know that court packing will continue’

EXCERPT:

BLITZER: “So what’s next, Senator, for Democrats like you and others who oppose Judge Kavanaugh? Are there any other options down the road?”

HORONO: “You know, I am more determined than ever to let everybody know that court packing will continue. The Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation have spent decades grooming their people to fill the district courts seats, and circuit court seats and obviously now a Supreme Court seat with their very ideologically driven, outcome-driven judges. And that is happening. So the battles will continue.”
