Jon Huntsman: I’m Not Scared of North Korea and Sony Shouldn’t Be Either

‘I think freedom is safe for at least another year’

NN REPORTER: “With things that are going on now with the leak of information and Sony dropping, do you think that’s a good idea that Sony drop the movie?”
HUNTSMAN: “Well, I think you kind of do what we do best and that’s you make a good movie, you say you are going to deliver it to the people, and you deliver it to the people. You don’t let anybody stand in the way.”
NN REPORTER: “But do you think with them doing a comedy like that, that they should have prevent that what caused all of this? You know China and you know that country very well.”
HUNTSMAN: “We are a society based on freedom and people can do and produce whatever they want. And people might stand in the way but you are better off just carrying through with your original plan.”
NN REPORTER: “So do you think like Seth Rogen and one of those guys can start a war with just this type of [step] that’s happening.”
HUNTSMAN: “I don’t think we are on the break of chaos or anything like that.”
NN REPORTER: “OK. So we are OK?”
HUNTSMAN: “I think freedom is safe for at least another year.”
NN REPORTER: “For another year, OK. Thank you so much, governor.”
