Trump: ‘I Am with the People of Iran’

‘Iran is going to come back to me and they’re going to make a good deal’

EXCERPT:

REPORTER: "You put out a call to action to other countries to rally with America to put pressure on Iran. Rouhani still calling for the U.S. to come back into the old deal but after meeting with world leaders this week, did you make any progress toward a potential new deal?"

TRUMP: "It doesn’t matter what world leaders think on Iran. Iran is going to come back to me and they’re going to make a good deal. I think. Maybe not. Deals, you never know, but they are suffering greatly. They are having riots in every city. Far greater than they were during the green period with President Obama. Far greater. When President Obama stuck up for government, not the people, you probably would have had a much different Iran, but I’m sticking up for the people. I’m with the people of Iran. But here’s the thing, they have rampant inflation. Their money is worthless, everything is going wrong. You can’t buy bread, you can’t do anything, it’s a disaster."
