Marc Thiessen on Kavanaugh Allegations: ‘We Cannot Destroy a Man’s Life with No Corroboration or Evidence

‘We saw a man deeply pained by these horrible accusations without a thread of corroboration of evidence’

RUSH EXCERPT:

THIESSEN: "He did very well. We saw a man deeply pained by these horrible accusations without a thread of corroboration of evidence. Do we now want to live in a world where allegations with no corroboration are the new standard where we destroy people? I don’t think United States senators want to live in that world. Joe said there has to be more than allegations. He’s right. The Ford story all of the people there said not only did it not happen they don’t know about the gathering. The “New Yorker” hasn’t confirmed with other eyewitnesses that Kavanaugh is present at the party. How do you go forward with a story with zero corroboration. The “New York Times” refused to publish this. She said to her classmates she was not sure Kavanaugh was the person involved. How are we talking about this and the United States Supreme Court hangs in the balance and the man’s life and reputation."
