Rep. Issa Announces Investigation into ObamaCare Website

‘They made a decision to put politics ahead of people’s real health care needs’

Rep. Darrell Issa Announces on Fox: Leading Investigation Into Obamacare Website (Mediaite)

As Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) led the official investigations into the 2012 attack on the Benghazi consulate and politically-based targeting by the IRS. And now, he’s found his latest “scandal”: the Obamacare website. On Fox News Tuesday afternoon, Issa told Gretchen Carlson that he has launched an investigation to find out exactly what went wrong with HealthCare.gov.

Issa began by rejecting White House Press Secretary Jay Carney’s notion that criticizing the website amounts to “Monday morning quarterbacking.” He said, “It is only the first few minutes of the first quarter. There will be trillons of dollars spent on Obamacare. This is not Monday morning, it’s real time.”
