MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Reveals How Brett Kavanaugh and the GOP Are Still Trying To Trick the Public About His Beliefs

MADDOW: "We have some breaking news tonight on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. His confirmation hearings ended last Friday. Senators on the judiciary Committee had a chance to submit written questions in addition to the ones they asked him out loud in the hearing room. So we've been watching those questions pour in. Democrats alone submitted more than 1200 questions for Kavanaugh. And a short time ago, I was actually going to try to hold you the stack, but it's such a mess, that I can only hold you pieces. We got a gigantic response from Brett Kavanaugh, 263 pages. It's just come in while I've been on the air. So now going through these 263 pages as fast as we can, we're starting to see his answers to a lot of the controversial things that came up last week in those hearings. But we've also got his answers to some questions that were definitely brand spanking new from the Democrats. Things we had and heard about at all."
