HENRY: "It’s a little humid here but things are better for Brett Kavanaugh, the judge has largely been sailing through his second day of confirmation hearings to be the second justice the president will get on the high court. The proceedings were repeatedly interrupted again by protesters, apparently paid to disrupt. People waiting online to sit in on the hearings are saying they have seen others get paid cash to wait on line and then cause trouble but then largely that has been just noise. It’s been nothing to stop him. Now Chuck Schumer is under fire. 13 liberal groups today signed a letter because he did not get more to oppose Kavanaugh. He said the Democrats approach can be summed up in one word, resist. The president also slammed to “The New York Times” for taking this rare step of publishing an anonymous op-ed from someone claiming to be a senior trump Administration official writing, he works from the inside to undermine the president by blocking what he believes to be erratic decisions.
