Stewart Mocks Sen. Feinstein’s ‘Upside’ Take on Torture Report

‘America is big enough to admit when it’s wrong and confident enough to learn from its mistakes’

STEWART: "While we're releasing everything there, according to this report, we did far more unspeakable things to  a much large number of people for negligible effects and lied about it for years on end. So what's the upside?"
FEINSTEIN [video]: "America is big enough to admit when it's wrong and confident enough to learn from its mistakes. History will judge us by our commitment to a just society governed by law and the willingness to face an ugly truth and say, never again."
STEWART: "You want us to do that! Okay, yeah, we'll face that ugly truth. And just a second, I just want to figure out, how did they get the cheese in the crust? That's what I want to know."
