Fox News: Syrian Forces Launch Strikes Against ISIS

‘Are the days of ISIS over in Syria?’

EXCERPT:

MILLER: " Just days ago, the area we’re now showing you was under the control of ISIS. The regime forcefully removed ISIS from this part of Syria, essentially isolating ISIS in an area east of where I’m now standing called Sweida Province where about two weeks ago ISIS committed mass murder, killing about 200 civilians and they also abducted dozens of civilians, predominantly women and children. Last week one of those who was abducted was beheaded. There was a video that was released. ISIS presumably using these hostages as a bargaining chip to try to win the release of its fighters that have been taken into custody as well as to win free passage to another part of Syria. Meanwhile, the Syrian regime backed by Russia has been conducting air strikes in this part of Syria and there are now reports coming out of Damascus that the regime of Bashar al-Assad is now planning some type of massive deployment of troops on the ground. There could very well be a very bloody battle taking place in just the next couple of days. And in the north meanwhile, in the last few days the U.S.-led coalition has conducted its own air strikes against ISIS. This now as the pressure on the terror group continues to be ratcheted up and it looks like it could very well be facing its final days here in the region in Syria."
