Scarborough: Trump Played Putin’s Poodle in Helsinki

‘It shows him to be weak and feckless’

EXCERPT:

SCARBOROUGH: "So, his numbers were higher, Willie. Donald Trump was getting to mid 40s in the middle of the summer. Then you had the missing children --"
GEIST: "Yeah."
SCARBOROUGH: "-- where children were being ripped from their mother’s arms."
BRZEZINSKI: "And we call them missing because we’re not allowed to see them. I don’t really know where they are. Do we know exactly where they all are? And can we account for them all?"
SCARBOROUGH: "Right, and that's number one. And that’s an ongoing crisis."
GEIST: "Yes."
SCARBOROUGH: "Number two, Putin’s poodle. He played Putin’s poodle in Helsinki, according to European papers. It shows him to be weak and feckless. It cuts against his brand. And now, you have the possibility of number three, a government shutdown. Talk about three bad things lining up for Republicans over the past couple of months."
