NBC’s Hallie Jackson Defends CNN’s Kaitlan Collins: ‘Any Reputable Journalist’ Would’ve Asked Questions as She Did (Mediaite)  

NBC’s Hallie Jackson expressed solidarity with CNN’s Kaitlan Collinson Thursday after her fellow White House reporter was barred from President Trump‘s event in the Rose Garden.

Collins was forbidden from the press conference after she lobbed several questions at Trump earlier in the day with regards to Michael Cohen. As Jackson spoke about this with Willie Geist on Morning Joe, she said Collins did her duty by asking the necessary questions, and it would’ve been “problematic” not to do so.

“Any reputable journalist in her place would have done exactly the same thing,” Jackson said. “I certainly would have. Anybody that I know here at NBC would have asked those same questions too.”
