BREMMER: "I believe trump deserves credit for difing North Korea to a degree. Certainly his unpredictability in the potential of engaging in strikes helped get them to the table. Now, it is absolutely true that since the Singapore historic meeting, North Korea hasn't done much to support the united States. But North Korea is engaging in serious diplomacy with the south Koreans that I think will bear fruit and also with the Chinese, either which was happening before trump engaged. The reason this was important is even if trump doesn't get what he wants, we as Americans should understand that the risks around North Korea for the region and the world have decreased significantly."
