“I think that we are ready to move on from that aisle as soon as Senator McConnell is as well, and I think both -- Senator McConnell has been in Washington longer than President Obama, but both of them are I think pretty keenly aware that it's important to not sort of allow that kind of rhetoric to interfere with our ability to try to find common ground. I think that is a spirit that despite what has been said by both sides in past, that's the spirit that will prevail, at least we are optimistic that will prevail in terms of ongoing relationship between these two people who are going to have a lot of -- a lot to say about our ability to pass legislation that will be good for the American public."
