Former Fox News analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters is calling President Trump a traitor to America for groveling at Vladimir Putin‘s feet in Helsinki.
The ex-intelligence officer spoke to CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Monday night, and Peters got very direct by stating, “Putin pitched a shut out, Trump got beat up in the locker room.” He maintained that the summit was “a disgrace to the office of the presidency,” yet the manner in which he believes Trump supporters will nonetheless gloss over the meeting’s failures suggests that the president is somehow “indebted” to Putin.
