Hannity Praises CNN’s Jake Tapper For Calling Out Obama On Being ‘Asleep at the Switch’ on Russia (Mediaite)

On Friday night, Sean Hannity offered rare praise for CNN anchor Jake Tapper over his analysis of the recent indictments made by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

In reaction to the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein‘s announcement of 12 Russian intel officers being charged for hacking the DNC, the DCCC, and John Podesta‘s emails, Tapper took aim at the Obama administration for being “asleep at the switch.”

“You read this indictment and you think, ‘Boy, the Obama administration- they really kinda missed the ball on this one,” Tapper said. “I mean, yes, they issued that report, but President Obama said… he told Putin to cut it out or knock it off, it wasn’t particularly strong, and then there was all this hesitation about warning the American people for fear of looking partisan. In retrospect, doesn’t it seem to you that the Obama administration was at least to a degree asleep at the switch?”
