FALLON: "All these things were sort of offensive to conservatives and the Federalist Society and the larger infrastructure that grew up on the right was really an attempt to answer and counter that. And now they’re on the cusp of the crowning achievement of this 40-year movement on the right to take back the courts, jerk the country to the far right. Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump have been quite outspoken that that is their goal. I think it will be a tragedy if it requires realizing what the court will be like if Brett Kavanaugh gets confirmed, for progressives to finally wake up to this threat that in many ways the left has been complacent when it comes to the courts because in our mind we think the courts have done the right thing. I think that’s about to drastically change if Brett Kavanaugh gets confirmed to the Supreme Court seat."
